Professor Thaddeus J. Fluffernutter

A certified genius, Professor Fluffernutter is the person to whom the entire town of Marshmallowville owes its existence as the marshmallow capital of the world. As the world's foremost expert in the science of marshmallomotry, his invention of the marshmallow created an industry for the town to build on and made him a billionaire several times over. But unbeknownst to the citizenry of Marshmallowville, the marshmallow, though tasty and delicious, was not invented to make money or create a local economy. Instead, marshmallows were actually invented to battle an evil alien race; Marshans, whom he has been tracking for years. From his mansion in the swamp he lives two lives; the outward appearance of an eccentric billionaire, and his actual existence as the mastermind behind the struggle to save mankind. Unable to continue this struggle alone from his swamp hideout, he has enlisted the help of some of the local kids.
