Mallow

The loyal dog of Professor Fluffernutter is not really a typical dog. During an experiment with marshmallow atoms, a hair from a stray dog somehow made it into the mixture, and the result was a marshmallow life form with the loyal qualities of a dog, and the body makeup of a marshmallow. Lovable and fiercely protective of Professor Fluffernutter and his swamp laboratory, he is a valuable soldier in the struggle against the Marshans, and the Professor often sends him out to help his warriors in the field.
